Geneva (Ginny) Keen April 27, 1926 - September 22, 2010
Geneva (Ginny) Keen, 84, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at her home.
She was born April 27, 1926 in Tompkinsville, Kentucky to the late Millard and Elizabeth (Monday) Cook.
Ginny was a nurses assistant at Community East Hospital for many years, was a charter member of the Aldersgate Free Methodist Church, Indianapolis. She loved her church, enjoyed cooking, and was known for her pies.
She is survived by her husband, Dessie Keen of Greenfield; children, Lynda (David) McLain of Greenfield, Gary Keen of Greenfield, Lonna (Dan) Hurt of Indianapolis; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her siblings and son, Dennis Keen.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 27, 2010 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield with Pastor John Van Valin officiating. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis. Friends may call Sunday, September 26, 2010 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the St. Francis Beech Grove Hospice, 438 S. Emerson Avenue Greenwood, IN 46143-1948.
