Elizabeth Genevieve Offenbacker-Brown, age 96 passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Manor Care Summer Trace, Carmel. She was born August 27, 1918 in Marion County, Indiana to the late Walter and Lula (Hamilton) Offenbacker. Genevieve retired from Hancock Memorial Hospital in 1975 after 19 years of service, was a member of Bradley United Methodist Church, OES #64, Past Worthy Matron of the Miriam Chapter, Greenfield and the VFW Auxiliary. She is survived by son; Donald L. (Roxy) Brown of Carmel, daughters; Janice M. (Asa) Burkett of Greenfield, Ramona Hancock of Carmel, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Lester L. Brown, 2 brothers, 3 sisters and son-in-law, W. Riley Hancock. Friends may call 4-7 pm, Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral services will be 7 pm with Order of the Eastern Star service at 6:45 pm. Burial will be 10:30 am, Thursday, April 2nd at IOOF Cemetery, Oaklandon, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to Arthritis Foundation, Indiana Chapter, 615 North Alabama St. Suite 430, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204 or Alzheimers Association, 50 East 91st St., Suite 100, Indianapolis, Indiana 46209.
