George Junior Bohannon

George Junior Bohannon September 18, 1925 - April 13, 2011 George Junior Bohannon, 85, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Regency Place. He was born September 18, 1925 in Indianapolis to the late George and Elizabeth (Jackson) Bohannon. George was a graduate of Washington High School in Indianapolis, he served in the U.S. Army during WWII in Normandy. George retired from White-Arts in 1990 where he was a printer. He is survived by his sons, Marc Allen Bohannon of Greenwood, Darrell Tracy Bohannon of Fishers; daughter, Lois Lynn (Tony) Simmermeyer of Greenfield; sister, Elizabeth (Jim) Wingler of Indianapolis; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lois (Riddle) Bohannon in December, 2009 and a brother, William Bohannon. Services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Burial will take place at Park Cemetery.
