Georgia Huntworth

Georgia Huntworth, age 96, of Greenfield, passed away on March 5, 2019 at Hancock Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 18, 1922, in Persia, TN, to the late Hugh & Myrtle (Ward) Kirkpatrick. She married the love of her life, George Huntworth, on May 28, 1947. Georgia was a devoted member of Faithway Baptist Church. She spent her career as a Registered Nurse, but later in life found her true joy being a homemaker and loving mother. Georgia was a member of the Delta ThetaTau Sorority and the Lila Literary Club. She enjoyed sharing her faith with family and friends, reading, gardening and making silk floral arrangements, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her precious family who she loved dearly. Left to cherish Georgias memory are 2 daughters; Marsha Schultheis and Cheryl Lime, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Georgia is proceeded in death by her parents and husband listed above, as well as, 3 sisters; Maggie Fletcher, Pauline Newton and Morna Brown. Visitation for Georgia will be from 4:00 8:00 PM on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday March 12, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor Jason Poole officiating.
