Gerald Hatfield

Gerald K. Hatfield passed away on Monday August 24, 2020 at Hancock Regional Hospital with his sister by his side. He was born on August 10, 1950 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina to the late Guthrie and Mary (Hall) Hatfield. Gerald is survived by his sister, Vivian Blankenship and his nephew, Keith Hatfield. He is preceded in death by his parents listed above and his older brother Marvin Hatfield. Gerald worked for Shares, Inc. for more than 40 years before he retired in 2015. Gerald was fortunate to spend more than 35 years with loving friends that became family to him at his home on East McKenzie Road. He was full of love and extremely generous. He was always looking for ways to help others and give back. Gerald loved to be outdoors and socializing with his friends. He enjoyed puzzles, crafts, games of all sorts and had a lifelong love for all animals. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140, on Tuesday September 1, 2020 with service at 11:00 am and burial to follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
