Gertrude K. Andis May 24, 1922 - July 21, 2008 Gertrude K. Andis, 86, a lifelong resident of Greenfield, passed away, Monday, July 21, 2008 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born May 24, 1922 in Greenfield, IN to the late Russell and Dorothy (Brewer) Catt. She attended Greenfield Wesleyan Church, was a Sunday school teacher, loved flowers, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by daughter, Gloria (Andis) Alexander of Greenfield; son, Ron (Connie) Andis of South Bend, IN; brothers, Richard Catt of Greenfield, Russell Catt. of Richmond, IN; sisters, Maxine Harvey of Indianapolis and Estella Caudill of Greenfield; five grandchildren, Pennie (Mark) DeCourdres of Kansas, Rodney (Penny) Alexander of Knightstown, Sonja (Bill) Boyd of Greenfield, Nathaniel (Erica) Andis of South Bend, IN, Kevin Andis of Ft. Wayne, IN; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Charles Andis and several sisters. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday, July 25, 2008 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
