Gilbert N. Andrick March 11, 1922 - July 9, 2012
Gilbert N. Andrick, 90, of Sebring, Florida, formerly of Greenfield and Indianapolis, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012 in Sebring, Florida. He was born March 11, 1922 in Greenfield, Indiana to the late Lewis and Helen (Shelby) Andrick. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the 739th Airborne Division, and as a retired letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. He was a member of St. John United Methodist Church in Sebring; Indianapolis Capital City Lodge #312; Murat Temple Shrine; Scottish Rite 32nd degree Mason and a lifetime member of VFW Post 4300 in Sebring. He was also a member of Florida Hi-12; the Order of the Eastern Star; a 50 year Mason and Past President of the Residents Association as well as Past King of The Palms of Sebring. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Andrick of Sebring, FL, son David (fianc, Cyndy Emerson) Andrick of Englewood, OH, brothers, Lewis Andrick, Jr., Bob Andrick both of Greenfield, grandchildren, David Maxwell (April) Andrick of Hilliard, OH, Daniel Z. (Casey) Andric k of New Lebanon, OH, Rebecca A. (Josh) Rayner of Stuttgart, Germany and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents listed above, 1st wife, Jo (Narvell) Andrick who he was married to for 49 years and a brother, Richard Andrick. Visitation will be Friday, July, 13, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Glen Cove Cemetery, Knightstown, IN.
