Glenn Grinstead May 24, 1918 - April 30, 2007 Glenn Grinstead, 88, of Greenfield passed away Monday April 30, 2007 at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born May 24, 1918 in Hancock County to the late Albert E. and Mary C. (Parris) Grinstead. After graduating from Maxwell High School, he worked for Western Electric for 24 years and was also a farmer. He was an avid gardener, woodworker, Maxwell basketball player and a member of Trinity Park United Methodist Church. He is survived by wife, Mary Alice (Wallace) Grinstead, whom he married October 30, 1937; sons, Jace A. (Patty) Grinstead, Glendon D. (Pat) Grinstead; daughters, Connie (Barry) Wadley all of Greenfield, Darlene (Moe) Kingen Miller of Indianapolis, Jo Ellen (Kim) Ward of Greenfield; sister, Hester Andis of Indianapolis; 9 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 4 step great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Ralph, Howard, Cleo, and Charles Grinstead; grandson, Cash Wadley, and great grandson, Zachary Allen Grinstead. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday May 4, 2007 at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Manning officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery. Friends may call 4- 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hancock County Meals on Wheels.
