Gloria Ann (Andis) Alexander

Gloria Ann (Andis) Alexander, 82, Greenfield, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Gloria was born on December 16, 1942, in Greenfield, IN, to Wilbur Charles and Gertrude Kathleen (Catt) Andis.

Gloria loved her children and grandchildren to the fullest and enjoyed all the cherished moments she was able to spend with them. In Gloria's younger years, she enjoyed crocheting. She taught Sunday School. She loved camping. She worshipped at Immanuel Holiness Church. Gloria worked as a medical receptionist for West Minister Village North for many years.

Gloria is survived by her children: Pennie Ann (Mark) DeCoudres, Rodney Louis (Penny) Alexander, and Sonja Renee (William) Boyd; 12 grandchildren: Jeremy DeCoudres, Monica (Ron) Shelden, Tiffany (Troy) Archer, Matthew (Ashley) Alexander, Aaron (Olivia) Alexander, Mark (Kayla) Alexander, Benjamin Alexander, Samuel Alexander, Philip Alexander, Jessica (Michael) Miles, William (Bailey) Boyd, and Justin Boyd; 26 great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald Eugene Andis; and best friend, Henrietta Evans.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, Johnnie Alexander; infant twin brothers; and sister-in-law, Connie Andis.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield. The funeral service will be held the following day, Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Park Cemetery.
