Gloria J. Bailey August 26, 1927 - August 30, 2012 Gloria J. Bailey 85 years, a resident of Greenfield passed away Thursday August 30, 2012 at Community Hospital East, Indianapolis. She was born August 26, 1927 in Iron Mountain, Michigan to the late Gino and Maria (Meneguzzo) Tarperi. She spent her childhood in Iron Mountain and graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1945. She married Donald Fontana in 1948 and had two daughters, Nancy and Susan. While living in Iron Mounatin, she worked for Montgomery Ward, Eagle Tool Co. and Cummins Engine Company. She married Robert Bailey in 1976 and moved to West Bend, Wis., where she worked for the West Bend Co. in the accounting department until becoming a full time housewife and retired in 1990. She and Bob moved in 1995 to the Greenfield area where she lived until her death. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Iron Mountain, Mich., and the Eastern Star, Chapter #101, Eden, Ind. She is survived by her husband, Robert Bailey of Greenfield, daughters, Nancy (William) Brisson of Mt. Clemens, Mich., Susan (Rick) Holland of Iron Mountain, Mich., step- children, Susan Gosewehr of Lago Vista, Tex., Cris Bailey of Frankfort, Ind., grandchildren, Steven Holland, Kristen (Doug) Kendrick, Shannon (Joe) Tocco, Rebecca Brisson, step-grandchildren, Ashley Gosewehr, Drake Gosewehr, great grandchildren, Gina Tocco, Julia Tocco, Sophia Tocco, Josephina Tocco, Charlie Kendrick, Alexandra Kendrick and Riley Brisson. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Eva Feira, Rena Prevost and brother, Evo Tarperi. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield with Eastern Star Service at 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2012.
