Grace Ellen Sherriff

Grace Ellen Sherriff, age 77, of Greenfield passed away, Sunday, June 20, 2021, at her home. She was born February 21, 1944, in Anderson, Indiana to the late Everett and Wilma (Stinson) Newman. Grace was a graduate of Madison Heights High School. Prior to her retirement in 2003, Grace worked as a prep cook for different restaurants. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, and the American Legion Auxiliary. Grace loved to play Bingo and occasionally visit the casino. More than anything, she loved her family and cherished spending time with them. She is survived by her son, Justin Walton; Godsons, Michael (Michelle) Jenkins and William (Nicole) Jenkins; brothers, David (Sandy) Newman and Charles Newman; 7 grandchildren; and dear friend, Carol Johnson. Grace is preceded in death by her parents, mentioned above; husband, Dwight Sherriff in 2019; daughter, Jennifer Martin; and siblings, Frank Newman, and Ruth Ann James.
