Gracie L. White

Gracie L. White, 88, of Avon Indiana passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 26, 2026. Gracie was born June 9, 1937 in Greenfield, Indiana to Thomas and Georgia (Brown) Lanham.

Gracie married the love of her life, Billy R. White, and together they raised 5 children. Gracie was known as a loving mother and extraordinary cook, famous for her chocolate cake. She was also a devout member of the Stringtown Nazarene Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Thomas and Georgia, her husband Billy, her daughter Shelia Wallace, and her sons; Teddy Kirksey, and Tommy Kirksey.

She is survived by her son Jim Kirksey, her daughter Lisa Gipson, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
