Guy Clifton Belcher

Guy Clifton Belcher December 12, 1929 - April 21, 2014 Guy Clifton Belcher, 84, passed away Monday, April 21, at Kindred Care in Greenfield. Guy was born to the late Thaxton Sr. and Ida Novella (Barrows) Belcher on December 12, 1929. He spent many years as a carpenter at the state building and was a builder of commercial bridges before retiring in 1965. He married Donna Mae (Morris) Belcher on June 11, 1949. Guy was a homebody, he loved cowboy western shows and loved to tinker and could fix just about everything. For 17 years Guy and Donna enjoyed selling vegetables on west US 40 at East Way Court and Gem Road. Guy is survived by his daughters, Doris (Gary) Eastes, Shorty (Phil Fields) Blagg, Janet (Sam) Hall, and Diana (Jerry) Lawson; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Guy is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Donna; sons Larry Belcher and Donald Belcher; 4 sisters and 4 brothers. Friends may call Thursday, April 24 from 4-8 pm at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 W Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana. Funeral services will be 10 am Friday, April 25 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
