Gwen M. Wallace

Gwen M. Wallace, age 76 of Greenfield passed away at Hancock Regional Hospital, Greenfield. She was born November 10, 1938 in Greenfield to the late John Rockey and Margaret (Gambrel) Pettigrew. Gwen worked for Criders Drive Inn throughout the 1960s and 1970s, Harlan-Sprague-Dawley 1979 through 1995 and Hancock Senior Services until her retirement in 2003. She loved spending time with her family, flower gardening and jig saw puzzles. She is survived by sons; Ernie (Janet) Ball, Michael (Chris) Ball all of Greenfield, brother; James Rockey of New Palestine, sister; Ruby Reynolds of Indianapolis, 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Gwen is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Robert Wallace, brother; Gerald Rockey and sister, Lois Tompkins. Friends may call 11 am until 1 pm, Wednesday June 10th at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm at the funeral home with burial immediately following at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
