H Irene Kramer

H. Irene Kramer July 22, 1927 - October 30, 2008 H. Irene Kramer, 81 of Greenfield passed away Thursday, October, 30, 2008 at Regency Place in Greenfield. She was born July 22, 1927 in Strasburg, Virginia to the late Ernest and Mildred (Stottlemyer) McFarland. Mrs. Kramer was a graduate of Strasburg High School and Shenandoah Business College. Irene served Hancock County as the Auditor for more than two terms. Prior to her position as auditor she was a legal secretary for Roger Reason. Irene loved spending time with her family and grandchildren, gardening and canning. She also had a special interest in trains and railroads. Irene was a Member of the Eastern Star and was a devout Christian. Mrs. Kramer is survived by son; Thomas (Leesa) Kramer of Greenwood, daughters; Katherine Kramer of Washington, Marilyn (Tom) Berdan of Illinois and Carolyn ( Rick) Coffin of Greenfield, sisters; Ruth Coyle of Columbus, IN and Jacie Hubbard of Virginia and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Carl T. Kramer in 1994, sisters; Annabelle Carper and Leona Poolman and brothers; Harold McFarland and Fred McFarland. Services will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, November 3, 2008 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield.
