Hall Edward "Eddie" Edon

Hall Edward "Eddie" Edon, 90, of Greenfield, IN, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Morristown Manor. He was born July 28, 1933, in Burkesville, KY. He was a long-time resident of Greenfield.

Eddie married the love of his life, Creola Bean from Red Boiling Springs, TN, on April 10, 1954, in Indianapolis, IN. Before retiring in 1995, he worked for Standard Die Supply in Indianapolis as a machine operator. He has been a member of Greenfield Church of Christ for 40 years.

Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Creola Edon; their children: Carol Ann (Gary) Pence of Greenfield, Alan Lane (Sherry Moore) Edon of New Palestine, and Barry Neal (Renee McCorkle) Edon of Carthage; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Caughman Edon; 14 blessings of grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Terry Edward Edon.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 13, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN, with the service immediately following at 1:00 p.m., also at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Brandon Lavy. Burial will follow in Park Cemetery, Greenfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greenfield Church of Christ, 1380 South State Street (PO Box 475), Greenfield, IN 46140.
