Hallie C. Wilfong August 16, 1917 - March 9, 2007 Hallie C. Wilfong, age 89, of Greenfield passed away March 9 , 2007 at Morristown Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Wilfong was born August 16, 1917 in Hancock County, Indiana the daughter of Hershall Vinton and Auda (Addison) Cook. Mrs. Wilfong worked for the City of Greenfield Park Cemetery as the secretary from 1960 until retiring in 1991. She was a member of the Greenfield Christian Church. She was also a member of Hancock Post #119 American Legion Auxillary, Salon #577 of the 8 & 40, Hancock Regional Hospital Guild, Delta Theta Tau Sorority. She was a past president of all of these organizations. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd V. Wilfong in 1992. Also preceding her in death were her parents and brothers Claude and Hershall Cook, and sister June McDole. Surviving are sister-in-law, Ruth W. Clifton, of Greenfield and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. March 14, 2007 at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home, Greenfield. Pastor John Davis will officiate. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. March 13, 2007 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Greenfield Christian Church. Comments Aunt Hallie. wonderful memories of you.
