Harold E. Barksdale July 9, 1938 - June 27, 2011 Harold E. Barksdale, 72, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Monday, June 27, 2011 at Regency Place of Greenfield. He was born July 9, 1938 in Fortville, IN, to the late Harold B. and Frances (Anderson) Barksdale. Harold served in the Indiana National Guard, from 1973 to 1987, and was a member of the Greenfield American Legion. He was employed as a crane operator at Roll Coater from 1969 to 1982. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Nancy (Reimer) Milner; children, Jeff Barksdale, Julie Barksdale, John Barksdale; step-children, Carolyn Henson, London, KY, Jack Milner, Indianapolis, Cathy Lingenfelter, Greenfield, Vickie Jack, Greenfield, Max Milner, Indianapolis; brother, Terry Barksdale, Indianapolis; 20 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Harold was preceded in death by a brother, James Barksdale. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Mendon Cemetery, Pendleton, IN. Arrangements and care has been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield.
