Harold T. White October 8, 1924 - September 17, 2007
Harold T. White, 82, of Greenfield passed away Monday, September 17, 2007 at his residence.
He was born October 8, 1924 in Hancock County, IN to the late Herbert N. and Lucy C. (Williams) White.
Mr. White graduated from Greenfield Central High School, and Purdue University where he earned a mechanical engineering degree. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and then worked as a product manager for 35 years at Insley Manufacturing Corporation retiring in 1986. He was a member of Greenfield Christian Church, Hancock County Lodge 101 F & AM since 1947, Scottish Rite, Hancock County Shrine Club, Murat Shriners, Pi Tau Sigma of Purdue University, He was also an avid fisherman and hunter.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret J. White, whom he married June 11, 1960; children, Rebecca D. (Michael) Bryan, Kathryn L. Ruster both of New Palestine, Jackie L. Steinmetz of Camby; sister, Claribelle (Joseph) Robinson of Lebanon; brother, Nile W. (Donna) White of Greenfield; grandchildren, Matthew (Elisha) Bryan, Stephen Bryan, Darci (Michael) Kamp, Douglas (Trisha) Reed, Dan (Rebecca) Sohn, Kimberly Steinmetz; and great grandchild, Ava Ruster.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 21, 2007 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel with Rev. John Davis. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery with graveside honors by the Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Masonic service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday.

The Lord promises eternity in Heaven if one meets the standards. Having known Harold for some 67 years I know he is there with his wide " smile speaking softly to God and thanking him for being blessed with a wonderful family. He will always be missed.
