Harry L Ferson, Jr.

Harry L. Ferson, Jr., age 87 of Greenfield passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Springhurst Health Campus. He was born January 4, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Harry L. and Stella (Przekwas) Ferson. He served 2 years active duty and 4 years active reserve duty in the U.S. Marine Corp. He received his bachelors degree from St. Joseph College in English and Journalism in 1957. Prior to his retirement Harry was a Systems Analyst for several financial institutions. He was a member of St Michael Catholic Church where he volunteered in the MOPS program, the Knights of Columbus, Detroit, MI and the American Legion, Mt. Clemens, MI Post and was a county election official for many years. He is survived by his sister, Jeanne Phillips of Greenfield; brothers, David Ferson, Robert Ferson and several nieces and nephews. Harry is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Ann (Bracken) and sister, Carol Ferson. A Mass of Christian Burial with Father Paul Landwerlen officiating 10 am, Monday, February 11th at St. Michael Catholic Church, 519 Jefferson St, Greenfield.
