Harry John Trees January 4, 1950 - June 13, 2009 Harry John Trees, 59, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born January 4, 1950 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Fred and Mary Grace (Plummer) Trees. Harry served as a Tech Sergeant in the United States Air Force working on Jet engines. His military service also included supporting operations in Vietnam. He was in charge of shipping and receiving at J.R. Wortman Company in Morristown for 26 years. He was also a lifetime member and property director of Faith Lutheran Church, Greenfield. He is survived by his wife Mary Lou Trees; brother, Floyd F. (Valerie) Trees of Camby; niece, great niece and great nephews; 5 step-children, several step-grandchildren and a large church family. He was preceded in death by brother, Eugene E. Trees. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Faith Lutheran Church, 200 West McKenzie Drive, Greenfield, with Rev. Wm. Daniel OConnor officiating. Burial will follow with military graveside rites at Fairview Cemetery in Tipton, IN. Friends may call Wednesday, June 17, 2009 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield, and also one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Faith Lutheran Building Fund, 200 West McKenzie Greenfield, IN 46140. Comments My thoughts and prayers go to the family of Harry Trees.
