Hattie "Peggy" Strubbe May 11, 1925 - March 24, 2014 Hattie B "Peggy" Strubbe, 88 of Greenfield, passed away on Monday March 24, 2014 at Hancock Regional Hospital Hospice. She was born on May 11, 1925 in Indianapolis Indiana, the daughter of the late Oscar and Edna (Pritchard) Caplinger. Peggy attended Currys Chapel United Methodist Church and the Charlottesville United Methodist Church. A member of the Helping Hand Home Economics Club and the Currys Chapel Ladies Club. Surviving relatives include; daughters, Karen Myers of Morgantown, Trudy Burch of Knightstown, Marsha (Bill) Branock of Greenfield, Debbie Beason of Rolling Prairie, Theresa (Jimmy) Sweet of Greenfield and Kimberly (Larry) Pickerel of Trafalgar, son, Michael (Kim) Toler of Greenfield, 22 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, sisters, Norma Strubbe and Ada Dickey, brother Paul Caplinger. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday March 29, 2014 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home Pasco Chapel 1780 West Main Street Greenfield, Indiana 46140, with burial to follow at Currys Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Friday March 28, 2014 at the Funeral Home. Memorial donations can be made in the memory of Peggy Strubble to The Big Brothers and Big Sisters 2960 North Meridian Indianapolis, Indiana, 46208.
