Heather Newton, age 49 of Greenfield passed away Monday, October 2, 2017 in Muncie. She was born August 1, 1968 in Virginia Beach, Virginia to the late William and Anne (McColl) Dodson. Heather worked as a daycare provider. She loved the children she cared for as much as her own. Heather lived her life for her husband and children. Heather was a member of the New Hope Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her husband, Donald Newton whom she married on June 26, 1991; two sons, Derek Newton and Ryan Newton both of Greenfield; daughter Hailee Newton of Greenfield; brother Scott Dodson of Indianapolis. Heather is preceded in death by both her father and mother. Friends may call from 4 - 8 pm, Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main St., Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral will be 10 am, Wednesday, October 11th at the funeral home. Burial immediately following at Park Cemetery.
