Helen R. Hunt March 19, 1915 - December 25, 2008 Helen R. Hunt, 93 of Greenfield passed away Thursday, December 25, 2008 in Franklin. Mrs. Hunt was born March 19, 1915 in Hancock County, Indiana to the late George C. and Maude (Bradley) Pope. She was a 1933 graduate of Maxwell High School and later married Donald L. Hunt. Helen was a member of Currys Chapel United Methodist Church and the Eden O.E.S. where she was Past Worthy Matron. Mrs. Hunt is survived by her sons; Phil (Sharon) Hunt and Larry Hunt both of Greenfield and Donovan (Roberta) Hunt of Knightstown, daughter; Betty Sue (Earl) Haywood of Greenfield, and sister; Marjorie Wheatley of Greenfield, Twelve grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald in 1983, sisters; Mary Elsbury and Ella Mae Bennett and brothers; Vern Pope and Loren Pope. Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main St. Greenfield with burial following at Park Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday December 30, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with an Eastern Star Service at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may me made to Currys Chapel U.M.C., P.O. I am so glad I was able to meet her and all of the family when " we visited Greenfield after our marriage. Please know that we send our loving sympathy and prayers for all of you.
