Herbert E. Dill July 1, 1953 - February 23, 2008
Herbert E. "Herbie" Dill, 54, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2008 at his residence.
He was born July 1, 1953 in Greenfield, Indiana to the late George F. and Helen (Butterworth) Dill.
He attended Greenfield High School, worked as the service manager for Jenkins Automotive since 1996, was a member of the Indiana Firefighters Association, former member of the F.O.P. and Eagles, avid drummer and played with the "Country Vibrations" band.
He is survived by sons, Casey (Tracy) Dill of Greenfield, Bryan (Amanda) Seacat of Greenwood, Chuck (Kayla) Seacat of Bloomington; daughters, Amber (Joe) Kincer, DaNylle Seacat all of Greenfield; brother, Gary (Carmel) Dill of Fairland; six grandchildren three nieces and one nephew.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 29, 2008 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Friends may call Thursday, February 28, 2008 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Herbert E. Dill memorial fund c/o Stillinger Family Funeral Home 1780 W. Main St., Greenfield, IN 46140 to help defray funeral expenses.
Comments Dear Casey I am so sorry to hear that your dad passed. Your in my thoughts and prayers. When we lose someone special it is very hard to see the light at the end of " this dark tunnel but just lift your eyes toward God and remember that he will comfort you in your time of sorrow. I remember the days when were little and all though it has been awhile since I had seen your dad I still remember him and I am so sorry for you cousin.

Casey, I am soooo sorry to hear about your dad! I had not heard from him in a while,didnt know that he had been ill untill i ran across your mom. May god bless " your family with good memories in your time of sorrow!
