Howard L. Brizendine May 12, 1922 - August 4, 2007 Howard L. Brizendine, 85 years, a resident of Astor, Florida, formerly of Greenfield, passed away Saturday August 4, 2007 at Deland Hospital, Florida. He was born May 12, 1922 in Hancock County to the late Chester and Eva (Stoler) Brizendine. Mr. Brizendine was a retired truck driver from Eaton Transfer after 20 years of service. Survivors include daughter, Marla Kay Braswell of Greenfield; two step children, Barbara Rogers of California and Robert Jack of Florida; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; two great- great grandchildren; one sister, Glendora Beyers of Greenfield; a brother, Raymond Brizendine of Greenfield. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha E. (Ball) Brizendine, 1987; stepson, Russell Jack; sisters, Hazel McCord, Betty Stine, and Lola Spegal; brother, Leroy Brizendine. Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel Greenfield, with Rev. Terry Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
