Howard Foster August 4, 1924 - March 27, 2008 Howard Foster, 83, a resident of Muncie, formerly of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2008 at the Golden Living Center, Muncie. He was born August 4, 1924 in Glezen, Indiana to the late Art and Verdilia (Loveless) Foster. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service, served in the U.S. Army during WWII, was a member of the Greenfield Moose Lodge, Petersburg, IN Moose Lodge, Eagles, Greenfield V.F.W., FOP, and the Greenfield American Legion #119. He loved fishing, hunting, and camping. He is survived by daughter, Becky (Don) Hayes of Fortville; brothers, Gordon and Vopel Foster; sisters, Linda Friedman, Agnes Cole; five grandchildren, Heather Pryor of Greenfield, Adam Pleasant of Fortville, Barb Hayes of Fortville, Becky (David) Helm of Fortville, Mike (Carrie) Hayes of Greenwood; several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cynthia Pryor; sisters, Mid and Hilda; brother, Crille. Graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2008 at Park Cemetery with Darryl Denny officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 9135 N.
