Imogene Pfaff January 7, 1927 - December 9, 2008
Imogene Pfaff, 81 of Greenfield passed away Tuesday, December 09, 2008 at Hancock Regional Hospital. Mrs. Pfaff was born January 7, 1927 in Savannah, Tennessee to the late James A. and Dona (Dildine) Godwin. She graduated from Keiser High School in Keiser, Arkansas and later married Don Pfaff on July 21, 1956. Imogene was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to sew and bake chocolate chip cookies for her grandchildren. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Greenfield.
Mrs. Pfaff is survived by her husband of 52 years Don of Greenfield, sons; David (Jane) Pfaff of Willow Branch, Douglas (George) Pfaff of Fredericksburg, VA., Paul (Judy) Pfaff of Greenfield, sister; Kathryn Jordan of Martinsville, brother; Larry (Joyce) Godwin of Fairland, IN., grandchildren; Aaron (Cara) Pfaff, Amanda (Rob Ruble) Pfaff, Doug Pfaff, Caitlin Pfaff, Andrew Pfaff, Kyle Pfaff, Lauren Pfaff and Samuel Pfaff, great grandchild; Ava Pfaff, caregiver; Robin Flora and several nieces and nephews including several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sister; Norma Barger, brothers; Harbert, Lester, Arch, Murray and Ben Godwin.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 12, 2008 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home~Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
