Imogene R Ross

Imogene R. Ross June 21, 1930 - December 28, 2007 Imogene R. Ross, 77, a resident of New Palestine, passed away Friday, December 28, 2007 at Brandywine Nursing and Rehab of Greenfield. She was born June 21, 1930 in Edmonton, Kentucky and was the daughter of the late Birch and Lela (Shive) Hurt. She retired in 1975 as a sales associate from L.S. Ayres. She loved to travel, enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, William J. Ross of New Palestine whom she married September 25, 1954; sons, Bob J. Ross of Lebanon and Mike (Cherie) Ross of Indianapolis; sisters, Betty Lou Robertson, Alice Sue Gibson, Bobbie D. Coomer, all of Edmonton, KY; brother, Lois Hurt of Fairmount, IN; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters. Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 31, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield with Joel Brown officiating. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery, New Palestine. Friends may call Sunday, December 30, 2007 from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
