J. Paul Flood December 25, 1940 - April 12, 2007
J. Paul Flood, 66, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2007. Born December 25, 1940 in New Berlin, Illinois to J. Wesley and Mable (Williamson) Flood, Paul graduated from Pleasant Plains High School in Pleasant Plains, Illinois, as Valedictorian of the Class of 1959. He attended Gulf Coast Bible College in Houston, Texas, and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, where he ministered for 12 years. Paul worked for the CVS Warehouse in Greenfield for 22 years, retiring in 2006. He attended the St. James Lutheran Church in Greenfield where he sang in the choir.
Surviving is his wife, Alice Flood of Greenfield; daughter, Beth Flood of Watertown, MA; and sister, Ruth (Dave) King of Ashland, IL.
He is predeceased by his parents.
Services are Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Church of God, 700 Broadway Street in Greenfield, with Pastors Dan Harmon and Jim Lyon officiating. Visitation is from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2007 at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home, Greenfield. Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2007, in Pleasant Plains Cemetery, Pleasant Plains, Illinois.
