Jackie “Jack” Lee Schuyler, 84, of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born on September 27, 1941, in Mt. Comfort, Indiana to the late Orbin and Margaret (Riley) Schuyler.
Jack graduated from high school and later enlisted in the Army, where he served from 1965 to 1967. Shortly after completing his military service, he was employed by Delco Remy, where he worked in maintenance. He continued working there until his retirement in 1996. In his leisure time, Jack enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. He was also known to be a good woodworker and spent time working with wood and being outdoors mowing the lawn. Jack was family-oriented and valued the time he spent with his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Leann Schuyler; son, Mark (Patricia) Schuyler; grandsons, Bruce (Jill) Schuyler, Aaron Wagoner, Devon (Kala) Wagoner, and Damien Schuyler; granddaughter, Kayla Schuyler; great-grandsons, Dean and Hunter; great-granddaughters, Lena and Carly.
In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his loving wife of sixty-two years, Pat Schuyler, whom he married on August 9, 1960; son, Scott Schuyler; sisters, Darlene and Mary Ann Schuyler; brother, Steve Schuyler.
In accordance with family wishes, no services will be held at this time.
