Jacqueline "Jackie" Stephens

Jacqueline (Jackie) Stephens, 72 years, a resident of Greenfield entered the gates of Heaven Wednesday, April 1, 2026. She was surrounded by her loved ones at the time of her passing. She was born December 1, 1953, in Fleming-Neon, Kentucky to the late William and Ethel (McCall) Anderson.

She worked at several factories through the years with the last being the Eaton Corporation in Greenfield. Upon its closing, she chose to retire and spend her time with her grandchildren. She was a devout Christian and a longtime member of Mt. Lebanon Church. She enjoyed garage sales with her sister, watching true crime shows, Disney movies and listening to Christmas music all year round. What made Jackie the happiest was being a Mamaw to her five grandchildren and especially her one great grandchild. Her world revolved around these six and she always made them feel like the favorite. The grandchildren always gravitated towards her. They would surround her in her chair and fight over the best spots that were the closest to her and then complain because one of them was touching the other. She made her home so welcoming and was the gathering place even as the grandchildren grew older. She was the center of our family and gave us all strength, comfort and love.

She is survived by her sons, Tony (Kimberly Shive), Terry (Heidi) Stephens, sisters, Charmia Smith, Glatha Tyler, Tammy Davis, Melinda Polly, Patricia Anderson, brother, Randy Anderson, grandchildren, Brooke, Brady, Bailey, Madison, Zachary, great granddaughter, Emmey Arnold, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above, husband, Earl Stephens in 2020 and several siblings.

Visitation will be 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 W. Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral service will be 12:00 pm Friday, April 10th at the funeral with burial to follow at Mt. Lebanon Church Cemetery, Greenfield.
