James F Johnson

James F. Johnson, Jr. June 5, 1933 - January 20, 2010 James Franklin Johnson Jr., passed away January 20, 2010, in Indianapolis after a long illness. Jim was a resident of Indianapolis but formerly resided in Shirley and Greenfield. He was born in Posey County, Indiana on June 5, 1933 to James F. and Mary Isabelle Willis Johnson. Jim retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years and spent his retirement doing the things he enjoyed most, spending time in the country, woodworking, gardening or anything he could build or fix. He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen (Dale) Young, step-sons, Donald (Julie) Wright, Steven (Rita) Wright, Timothy (Lisa) Wright and Joseph (Beverly) Wright; six grandsons, two granddaughters and three great-granddaughters as well as many other relatives. James was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Linda J. Pollard Johnson, his parents, and his sister, Martha Jean Johnson Goff. Memorial service will be held on Monday, January 25, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield with Pastor Matt Wickham officiating.
