James Edward Harris

James Edward Harris April 5, 1936 - October 24, 2010 James Edward Harris, 74, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 at the Pleasant View Lodge, McCordsville. He was born April 5, 1936 in Cincinnati, Ohio and was the son of the late Everett and Dorothea (Waterman) Harris. James worked for Ford Motor Company, was a member of the Eden Masonic Lodge and the Moose Lodge on 16th Street in Indianapolis. He was a member of Mt. Comfort Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Louise (Howell) Harris of Greenfield, his son, James E. Harris, Jr. of Bradenton, FL; daughters, Teresia L. Harris of Greenfield, Tina M. Harris, of Cibolo, TX; Tayrell J. (Jerry) Sedam of Greenwood, Tanya M. (Joe) White of Wilkinson; step-son, Stephen E. Neice of FL; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Harris. Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield with Jerry Sedam officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Comfort cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Greenfield Humane Society, 214 East Main Street. Comments My dearest sympathies to the Harris family. I always enjoyed the times I met Mr. Harris. He had such an outgoing personality and he made me feel like part of the " family.
