James M. Marsh November 15, 1931 - April 22, 2007 James M. Marsh, 75, of New Palestine passed away Sunday, April 22, 2007 with his loving family by his side. He was born November 15, 1931 in Larue Ky, to the late Otis R. and Sylvia M. (Simpson) Marsh. He was an operating engineer for 56 years with the Local #103 of Indianapolis, he started working for the Local #103 on October 25, 1951, a member of New Palestine United Methodist Church, Sugar Creek Lodge # 279 of Fairland, and Scottish Rite of Indianapolis. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and auto racing. He is survived by sons, James A. Marsh of Fountaintown, Tim Marsh; daughters, Brenda (Allan) Harter, Deena Marsh all of Greenfield; sisters, Leona "Mazie" Bogard of Mooresville, Ramona Whited of Indianapolis, Virginia Lucille "Jenny"(William) Bowman of Bloomington; grandchildren, Ryan (Brandy) Harter, Rochelle (Tim) Gill; great grandchildren; Callay Denise Gill, Michael Ryan Harter, Aubrey Nicole Harter all of Greenfield; several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by wife, Earlene Rhea (Hurt) Marsh on July 9, 2006; brothers, Forrest "Dickie", Kenneth, Hobert "Buddie" Marsh; and sister, Alfreda Marsh. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2007 at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Burns officiating. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery.
