James R. Meek

James R. Meek, 62, Greenfield, passed away October 2, 2020. He was born on September 18, 1958 in Greenfield, IN, the son of Paul and Joan (Walls) Meek. James worked as a sheet metal worker for 21 years at Southwark Metal Manufacturing in Lawrence, IN. He married Candy Small on May 31, 1997. James loved to fish and watch Colts football. James is survived by his father, Paul Meek; siblings: Jon (Lisa) Meek, Gary (Susan) Meek, Rob (Kim) Meek, Paula Corbin, and Fawn Minchin; and nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Meek; wife, Candy Meek; sister, Dawn Meek; and brother-in-law, Jim Minchin. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main Street, Greenfield. Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. in Philadelphia Cemetery.
