James E. "Bubba" Rich February 27, 1958 - May 30, 2010 James E. "Bubba" Rich age 52 years, a 20 resident of Greenfield and former resident of Indianapolis passed away at his residence Sunday May 30, 2010. He was born February 27, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN to Willie J.C. and Lillie Marie (Jones) Rich. He worked for Von Duprin, Inc. as a machine setup technician/operator and gave 30 years of service before becoming disabled and retired. He was a member of Rescue Baptist Church, Indianapolis, where he was set aside to become a Deacon, a former Sunday school teacher and also attended Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church. He loved NASCAR, drag racing, working on cars, attending car shows and especially being with his family. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Papaw, Son and Brother. He is survived by his wife Charlotte (Dobbs) Rich of Greenfield whom he married on July 2, 1977, mother, Lillie Marie (Jones) Rich of New Castle, daughter, Patricia Ann (Joe) Rich-Priest of Greenfield, granddaughter, Victoria Michelle Priest of Greenfield, sisters, Hazel Marie Barnes of New Castle and Linda Gail (Garry) Ross, Rushville. His father Willie J.C. Rich preceded him in death. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Stillinger Family Funeral, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Burial will follow at Acton Cemetery, Acton, Indiana. Friends may call Wednesday, June 2, 2010 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
