Jane Ann Lewis

Jane Ann Lewis, 63, Greenfield, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, with

loving family members by her side. Jane was born on July 14, 1961, in Indianapolis,

IN, to George Jerome and Mary Ann (Oliphant) Lewis. She is a 1979 graduate of

Greenfield Central High School. On December 10, 2022, Jane married her

longtime life partner & childhood friend, David Vincent Lahr.

Jane's highlight in life was spending as much time with her nieces, great nieces,

and great nephews who all called her "Aunt Gie". She loved to learn of their

activities, attend their sporting events, nurture them, spoil them, and bake for

them. Jane's second highlight in life was spending quality time at home with her

husband David. Jane enjoyed baking cookies & brownies, and her family says she

always made the best. She worked as a clerical/administrator for Little

Construction, Greenfield, for 10 ½years.

Jane is survived by her loving husband, David Lahr; loving sister, Sarah Payne;

nieces, Mariah (Dustin) Ante and Hannah (Jason) Burton; and great nieces and

great nephews, Aria, Ashton, Camden, and Landon Ante and Lainey Burton. Also,

her great dog nephew, Duke.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Greenfield, is of assistance to the Lewis and Lahr

families during this untimely and unexpected passing. There will be no services at
