Jane H. White

Jane (Howell) White, 84 years, a resident of Greenfield, went to be with Jesus Friday, March 21, 2025. She was born Aug. 30, 1940 in Indianapolis, Indiana to late Floyd Lee and Helen Elizabeth (Hanna) Howell.

Jane graduated from Greenfield High School in 1959 and went on to have a long career with the state of Indiana. She was a hardworking, tenacious, generous woman of faith and a friend to many. She was also an avid euchre player and enjoyed playing in multiple card clubs, visiting the Sweet Shop with friends most mornings, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her children Vicki (Jim) Fair of Greenfield and Gregory White of Bend, OR; sister, Jean Smiddy, grandchildren Tera(Grant) Stoddard of New Richmond, WI, Jacob (Klaryssa) Fair of Greenfield, and Christopher White of Tuscaloosa, AL; and great-granddaughters Lakelynn Fair and Harlow Stoddard.

She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd Lee and Helen Elizabeth Howell, brother Jim Howell and beloved dog Sammy.

Visitation will be 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Friday, March 28, 2025 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 W. Main Street, Greenfield, In 46140. A celebration of her life will be 10:00 am Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Trinity Park Church, 207 W. Park Avenue, Greenfield, Indiana. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery, Knightstown, Indiana.
