Janet Rae Arthur

Janet Rae Arthur 82 years, a resident of Greenfield and former resident of Fortville passed away Monday August 3, 2015 at Kindred Healthcare, Greenfield. She was born April 20, 1933 in Fortville, Ind., to the late Van Dallie & Nellie (Deardroff) Arthur. She was a babysitter, volunteered at Hancock Regional Hospital, the Greenfield Public Library, Fortville Christian Church Library, Goodwill and was a member of the Greenfield Christian Church. She loved animals. She is survived by her friends Eileen Hinkle and Charli Hoff both of Greenfield. She is preceded in death by her half-brother, Russel Arthur and half-sister Mabel Arthur. Calling will be Thursday August 6, 2015 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Greenfield Christian Church. Funeral service will follow at 6:30 p.m. Private burial will be at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
