Janet E. Hudson August 31, 1925 - November 29, 2010
Janet E. Hudson, 85, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Monday, November 29, 2010 at the Golden Living Center, Brandywine.
She was born August 31, 1925 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Harry E. and Lela (Nuding) Johnson.
Janet was a homemaker, devoted member of Trinity Park United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and was a former volunteer at Hancock Regional Hospital. She loved traveling, camping, reading, boating, playing scrabble and spending time with her family.
She is survived by sons, Stephen R. Hudson of Greenfield; David M. (Paula) Hudson of Indianapolis; Mark A. (Debbie) Hudson, of Greenfield six grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; brothers, Harry A. Johnson of Indianapolis and Edward O. Johnson of Cumberland; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Hudson, 1989 and a sister, Mona Moore.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield with Rev. Michael Manning officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park, Indianapolis. Friends may call Tuesday, November 30, 2010 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Hancock Regional Hospital Foundation.

We remember Mrs Hudson (Janet) from our time at Bell's Chapel,and as our choir director. She was a lovely, lovely lady and we remember her fondly. We were so " sorry to hear of her passing. Our condolences to your family from our families.
