Janice L. Ellis October 27, 1953 - October 26, 2006 Janice L. Ellis, 52, of Greenfield passed away Thursday October 26, 2006 at Methodist Hospital. She was born October 27, 1953 in Greenfield to the late Rex J. Ellis and Virginia (Seyfferle) Walker. She graduated from Eastern Hancock High school in 1972, was a former secretary for Noble County Probation Office and a reserve police officer of Albion Police Department. She was a member of the Mohawk United Methodist Church, Rome City American Legion Auxiliary, and Albion Eagles Lodge. She is survived by her mother; sisters, Mindy Burns, Stacey Wolfe; half brother, Rex Anthony Ellis; step-brother, Leon Walker; nieces, Trisha Carman, Dani Wolfe; nephews, Joshua Burns and Sean Burns. She is preceded in death by her father, Rex J. Ellis and step father, Arvil Walker. Funeral service will be 10 am Monday October 30, 2006 at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home with Rev. LaMont Bonath officiating. Friends may call 2-6 pm on Sunday October 29, 2006 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk United Methodist Church building fund.
