Janice E. Johns

Janice E. Johns, age 77, of Orange Park, FL, formerly of Greenfield passed away at her home in Florida, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. She was born June 30, 1943 in Indianapolis to the late Earl and Rosalee (Allen) Jarrett. Prior to her retirement in 2005, Janice was a Home Health Aide for Hancock Regional Hospital for many years. Janice was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking and crocheting. She was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church, Greenfield. Above all else she cherished her time spent with family. Janice is survived by her children, Amy Winkle, Howard A. Johns, and Lori Johns; siblings, Martha Green, Sue Cazee, Jean McGregor, George Jarrett, David Jarrett and Robert Jarrett, several grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents mentioned above and husband Howard Johns. Calling will be held 10:00 am – Noon, Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1450 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral service at 12:00 pm with Pastor Roger Kinion officiating. Burial immediately following at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. In keeping with the COVID-19 mandates, masks will be required along with social distancing. Number of those allowed in attendance may vary.
