Jarvie Glen Reynolds, 81, of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born May 8, 1945, in London, Kentucky, to the late James Harley Reynolds and Eula Thelma (Floyd) Reynolds.
Jarvie worked as a machinist for Chrysler for over thirty-seven years until his retirement in 2001. He also served in the United States National Guard. In his leisure time, Jarvie had a passion for woodworking. He also loved to garden and would sell the things he grew at the Greenfield Farmer’s Market alongside his grandchildren. Above all, Jarvie was known as a family man and would attend all events his children and even grandchildren would be participating in.
Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-nine years, Vickie Reynolds, whom he married June 10, 1967; four children, Sherry Reynolds, Jodie Reynolds (Mick Magee), Natasha (Derek) Frady, and Jonathan Moore; six grandchildren, Blake, Gage, Zayne, Emersyn, Azlyn, and Temperance; three great-grandchildren, Bryson, Paisley, and Xavier; and three siblings, Kenneth Reynolds, Evelyn Allen, and Darrell Reynolds.
Besides his parents, Jarvie is preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Jackson.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140, with the funeral service to follow. Derek Frady will officiate.
