Jason Lease

Jason Lease, age 45 of Indianapolis passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at his home. He was born May 25, 1970 in Greenfield to Robert T. Lease and Carole A. Short. Jason was a 1988 graduate of Greenfield Central High School. He was a very spiritual person, loved his family and friends and was loyal to them beyond words. He had a positive outlook on life, an infectious laugh, tremendous sense of humor and enjoyed celebrating the simple things in life. He is survived by his mother Carole Short of Watkinsville, GA, siblings; Trina (Richard) Burk of Greenfield, Julie (Tom Grossman Jr.) Lease of Carmel, Tiese (Tony) Thomas of Greenfield, Michele (Fred) Lease-Johnson of Athens, GA, Justin Short of Chicago dear friend, Jeffrey Elder of Indianapolis, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Jason is preceded in death by his father; Robert T. Lease and step father; Richard O. Short. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield. A funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday at the funeral home with burial immediately following at New Palestine Cemetery.
