Jasper N. Silcox January 7, 1922 - September 9, 2011 Jasper N. Silcox age 89 years, a resident of Greenfield passed away Friday September 9, 2011 at Hancock Regional Hospital, Greenfield. He was born January 7, 1922 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Richard Silcox & Lenna (Anderson) Silcox. He retired from Xerox in 1983 and Wal-Mart in 2006. He loved baseball, racing and was just an overall sports fan. He also loved to do cross-word puzzles. He was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church and was a church elder. He is survived by his wife, Uldine (Dunkerson) Silcox of Greenfield, son, Richard M. (Betty) Silcox of Greenfield, daughter, Jean (Lonnie) Dugan of Indianapolis, step-son, Robert G. (Rita) Robbins of Indianapolis, 7 grandchildren, 1 step-grandchild, 11 great- grandchildren, 1 step great-grandchild and 2 step great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Marietta, a son Larry, 2 sisters, Olive Neutzman and Helen Riegle. Friends may call Monday September 12, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday September 13, 2011 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association. Comments Uncle Jasper was a kind and loving man. I know he's rejoicing with Aunt Marrietta.
