Jay Pennington

Jesse "Jay" Pennington, Sr., age 79 of Greenfield passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at his home. He was born January 24, 1937 in Fayette County, Indiana to the late Jesse and Nancy (Tincher) Pennington. Jay retired from Roll Coater of Greenfield after many years of service. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed movie night with his son Jesse, family outings, vegetable gardening and his dog "Chipper". He is survived by his children; Jesse Pennington of Shelbyville, Missy (Mark Gregory) Franklin of Greenfield, Sheila (Rey) Infante of Greenfield, Penny (Kevin) McFall of Falmouth, IN, Mary(Bob Kelsey) Kimberlin of Trenton, NC, Jay Alan (Laura) Pennington of Mendon, MI, grandchildren; Zander, Zachary Franklin, 8 other grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; a great-great niece Mia, several other nieces & nephews, sisters; Ruby Hurley, Ruth Ann Randolph, brothers; Andy Pennington and Dale Pennington. He is preceded in death by his parents listed above, wife; Loretta Kaye (Grinstead) Booth-Pennington and 9 brothers. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 1,2016 at the funeral home with burial immediately following at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
