Jean Ruth Lancello

Jean Ruth Lancello October 4, 1927 - December 16, 2013 Jean Ruth Lancello, 86 of Greenfield passed away Monday, December 16, 2013 at Hancock Regional Hospice. She was born October 4, 1927 in New Britain, Connecticut to the late William and Lillian (Johnson) Fitzgerald. Jean was a graduate of Newington High School, Newington CT. She married Joseph G. Lancello on July 8, 1950 in New Britain, CT. Jean was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She loved her family, enjoyed sewing, needlepoint, cooking and gardening. She was a member of Bradley United Methodist Church and Tri Kappa. She is survived by her husband Joe of Greenfield, son; David (Christy) Lancello of Indianapolis, daughter; Joan Hancock of Whitestown, Indiana, brother; Neil Fitzgerald of Plainville, CT., grandchildren; Joseph Palumbo, Cindy Hancock and Jessica Hancock and great grandchild Jean Palumbo. Jean is preceded in death by her parents and brother; William Fitzgerald. Services: will be Friday December 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Stillinger Family Funeral Home Pasco Chapel 1780 West Main Street Greenfield Indiana 46140. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Friday December 20, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Park Cemetery.
