Jeffrey Allen Brewer, Sr.

Jeffrey Allen Brewer, Sr., 64, Greenfield, passed away November 18, 2020 at home with family by his side. Jeff was born on June 21, 1956 in Kokomo to Charles and Maudie Brewer. Jeff joined the U.S. Navy in 1974 and proudly served our country for 2 ½ years. He married Jenny Lee Andis in 1975. Jeff was a tremendously loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him and will be sadly missed. Jeff worked for Sandlin Construction for 24 years as a truck driver and mechanic. He later transitioned to Morristown Express as a truck driver and was currently employed with them for 13+ years. His coworkers affectionately called him Shaggy. Besides being a truck driver, Jeff loved to fix cars alongside his brother. But more importantly, he deeply loved family time. Jeff is survived by his loving wife Jenny Brewer of 45 years; their children: Melissa (Thomas) Watson, Tracy (Nathan) Padgett, and Jeffrey Brewer, Jr.; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings: Mike (Barbara) Brewer and Jim (Trisha) Alexander; in-laws, Jake and Betty Andis; and many wonderful coworkers. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Brewer and Maudie Alexander. Visitation will be on Monday, November 23, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main Street, with the funeral service immediately following, also at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Park Cemetery with military honors afforded.
