Jeffrey Allen Coil, Sr.

Jeffrey Allen Coil, Sr., 62, Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly, on August 13, 2021. He was born on November 8, 1958, in Greenfield to Ova and Barbara (Sisson) Coil. He graduated from Greenfield Central High School. Jeff worked for Yellow Cab as a driver for many years. He enjoyed collecting old music records and 8-tracks. He loved scary movies, finding discarded treasures at auctions, and attending concerts. He sold some of those treasures on Ebay for fun. He loved to cook, even though his food may not have tasted the best, according to family members. He is survived by his loving mother, Barbara Coil; children: Jeff Coil II, April Coil, Danielle Coil, Sarah Davis, and Ashley Davis; 9 grandchildren; and siblings: Thomas Coil and Ruby (Dennis) Bowman. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Ova Coil and brother, Gary Coil. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at a later date and time.
